Education

We are offering schools in Herefordshire and Worcestershire the opportunity to visit us at EnviroSort, our Materials Reclamation Facility (MRF) for free.  We are based in Norton, near Worcester. We can also provide transport subsidies for schools visits.

Besides being able to watch what happens at our facility from the safety of our large viewing platform, educational visits take place in our own bespoke classroom-sized Education Room, (with its own self-contained toilets).

Groups of students will be able to learn first-hand what happens at EnviroSort to all green bin collections from across the two counties.

We have a range of complementary activities designed to stimulate and increase learners’ knowledge.  Our activities and presentations can complement the National Curriculum across KS1/2, KS3/4 and KS5.  We can also support Higher Education programmes.  Activities and presentations can be amended to link to any particular topics or areas of interest you are currently teaching.  These can include Literacy, Science, Maths, Geography, Art, Ethics, Environmental studies, Personal Development and L.O.R.I.C.

Our Education and Communications Officer has an enhanced DBS check and a background in Education.
