On 13 March the Planning Committee of Herefordshire Council granted permission for the Company to develop the much needed green waste composting facility at Upper House Farm, Moreton-on-Lugg.
The new facility will enable all the green garden waste delivered to household waste sites in the area to be processed into a valuable peat-free soil conditioner – and supplied to residents, farmers and growers all over Herefordshire. At present these customers are being serviced by deliveries from the Company’s composting site at Hill and Moor, near Pershore.
It is expected that work on developing the new facility will commence later this year.
